Berkshire Mummies has been set up by a Berkshire Mummy of two who throughout her two pregnancies and 4 years of parenthood has discovered how many amazing things there are going on within Berkshire and surrounding area for all members of the family, several of which are free or subsidised. This site aims to be a central hub which supports the complete array of activities, classes, walks, community support groups and sessions, child friendly resturants and cafes and events that take place within the borough and further afield. The idea behind this website is to support smaller businesses and community groups who are offering fantastic products and services alongside the more well known attractions and franchises which offer opportunities to Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers and their families throughout the borough.
It is hoped that the Berkshire Mummies blog will be used as a one-stop hub to give you inspiration about what to do with your family during school holidays, weekends, afterschool and during the day and also give you as parents, grandparents and carers exposure to what is available for yourselves in terms of classes, doulas, party planners etc.
If you are a Berkshire Mummy, Daddy, Grandparents and Carers and have come across an outstanding family or child friendly activity, group or event which you believe should be on this site please do get in touch via email as its important to share the experience of other families within the borough so everyone can benefit. Alternatively if you are a business that would like to feature on the Berkshire Mummies website, blog, social media or in the directory please contact us via email or contact Berkshire Mummies about advertising and listings opportunities. If you are running a free family friendly community event please get in touch as we are happy to list this for free for you. If you would also like to collaborate then please get in touch brands we have recently worked with included The Royal County of Berkshire Show, Henley Literary Festival, Norden Farm, Bill's and The Giggling Squid.
Enjoy exploring the site,
A Berkshire Mummy and Editor of Berkshire Mummies
