Christmas Lights Switch On, Berkshire 2018

15th November 2018, Eton Christmas Light Switch On. The evening commences at 5.30pm. Community Carol Service at Eton College Chapel 6pm followed by a parade through Eton High Street to Jubilee Square. Lights will be switched on at 7pm. The will be community stalls, live music, Santa’s Grotto and reindeer.


17th November 2018, Windsor Christmas Lights Switch On and Lantern Procession. Entertainment starts at 3pm. There will be live music, carol singing and food stalls plus the switching on of the lights.


17th November 2018, Slough Christmas Lights Switch On. Town Square, High Street, Slough. The event will include music, dance and a preview of The Curve’s Pantomine, Beauty and the Beast.


18th November 2018, Newbury Christmas Lights Switch On. There will be live entertainment from 3pm on the stage. The annual Santa Parade sets off from Market Street at 4.45pm and the light switch on will be at approx. 5.15pm.


24th November 2018, Maidenhead Christmas Lights Switch On. Throughout the day there will be a Christmas Market. Entertainment starts at 4.30pm on the stage at the Town Hall. 6pm the lights will be switched on followed by a fireworks display.


24th November 2018, Woodley Christmas Lights Switch On and Carol Concert, Woodley Town Shopping Precinct, Headley Road, Woodley, Reading. 4.30pm.


24th November 2018, Sandhurst Christmas Lights Switch On, Sandhurst Memorial Park, 6pm. The Mayor of Sandhurst will switch on the Christmas Tree Lights. There will be carols by the Sandhurst Choir and Sandhurst Community Brass Band. Mulled wine, squash and warm mince pies will be served by your Town Councillors.


25th November 2018, The Lexicon Christmas Light Switch On, Bracknell. Princess Square at 4.25pm for a performance from Vocalese choir, followed by members of the Bracknell Gymnastics Club switching on the lights inside. At 5pm at Union Square the magical Snow King and Queen will illuminate the Christmas tree and the surrounding lights throughout the shopping centre. The evening entertainment continues in The Avenue down to Bond Square at 5.15pm with performances from Spark! a spectacular LED drummer band. At 6pm there will be snow and a lightshow, finished off with a performance by the Reading Gospel Choir, who are back by popular demand! Throughout the evening in Bond Square, Nando’s will be handing out their beloved chicken hot wings!


7th December 2018, Thatcham Broadway. From 5pm there will be charity stalls offereing games and competitions plus a treasure hunt around town centre businesses. Kennet Radio will broadcast live from the stage and there will be a range of performances. The lights will be switched on at 7pm.
