One of our preferred cafes to visit in Berkshire as a family is Robyn’s Nest Café which is based at Moss End Garden Village in Warfield (RG42 6EJ). We have been going to the cafe since it opened as we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the quality and selection of the food and drink plus we always feel very welcome with our little one.
There is a small play area with a selection of toys, including a play kitchen and books in the top area of the cafe. There are often other families enjoying the play area, at the same time as us and everyone we have met has always been very welcoming and happy to share the space and toys. I find it is a great safe area to watch our child play whilst sitting down and enjoying a drink and food, whilst not being very far away to interact and supervise. I have also met friends many times at the cafe for a play date and sometimes head to the cafe to write blog posts when I need a change of environment.
There is also a children’s menu which includes pancakes, a cooked breakfast, lunchbox option and pasta - click here to view the full children menu.
The cafe is spread over two levels and an outdoor area, so if you are child free there is plenty of alternative seating. We look forward to continuing to support the cafe as it is a lovely place to visit.
