There are a range of events and activities taking place throughout Berkshire and the surrounding area during the May Half Term, here a just a few ideas of things that are taking place which may be of interest to you and your family.
Saturday 26th May 2018, Who Let The Dads Out, Bracknell, 10am – 12 noon, Kenrith Community Church, Bracknell.
Saturday 26th May 2018, Aldershot Lido opens for the summer season. The Lido is open every day between 26th May – 3rd June 2018. It will then be open weekends for the rest of June and daily from 1st July 2018.
Sunday 27th May 2018 and Monday 28th May 2018, 11am - 4.30pm, Sonning Scarecrows 2018.
Monday 28th May 2018, 11am – 4pm, Spring Fever at Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre Open Day, Reading, Free Entry to Centre.
Monday 28th May 2018 - Saturday 2nd June, join the Norden Farm Storytellers in their story den this half term. 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Age guidance 3-7 years. Pre-book spaces and adults must accompany children. From £2 per child.
Monday 28th May 2018 – Friday 1st June, Arts and Craft Sessions at Norden Farm. Themes: 28th May – Circus, 29th May - 3D Book, 30th May - Blow Football Game and England Flag, 31st May - Peter Rabbit and wheelbarrow, 1st June – Mini Beasts (bug rocks and caterpillar). £5 per child, pre-book space. Adults to accompany children.
Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st May 2018, Dorney Court Kitchen, celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week by offering painting and planting pots, colouring, a quiz and learning about what’s growing in the walled garden. £3 per child (includes water / squash). Suitable for ages 2 to 8.
Wednesday 30th May 2018, (intervals between 11am – 4pm), Meet Mr Bump and Little Miss Sunshine, The Lexicon, Bracknell.
Thursday 31st May 2018, (intervals between 11am – 4pm), Meet Mr Tickle and Little Miss Inventor.
Saturday 2nd June and Sunday 3rd June 2018, Festival of Food and Music at South Hill Park, Saturday 10am – 6pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm. Free Entry (vendors will charge for their products and services).
